The Masjid was established in the year 2000. It was initially constructed with wooden walls and a tin roof. It can accommodate approximately 400 worshippers on the ground floor.
Al'hamdulillāh, the foundation, walls and a temporary roof made of tin has been constructed and some of the windows and doors have been installed. In addition to this, the boundary wall has been erected and a pond has been dug to provide water facilities for the worshippers.
The Masjid is currently in need of urgent funds, specifically for a concrete roof. Currently, a tin roof protects the worshippers which is a safety risk, as water seeps through the fragile roof resulting in the prayer area getting wet, causing great inconvenience especially in the monsoon and winter seasons.
